Welcome to the website for the Jefferson and Dodge County and surrounding area bird walks! Here you can find information on the walks we hold including when they will be held, where to meet us for the walks, and any last minute information about the walks.

We hold our regular walks on weekends toward the end of the month, April through September. We post the location and actual day (Saturday or Sunday) and time shortly before the walk so we can be as certain as possible we go where the birds are. We may also hold additional walks from time to time when appropriate. All walks are open to the public, and are free. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Bring binoculars if you have them, and wear comfortable walking shoes.

You can use the links below on this page for more information about our walks as the year progresses.

If you have some particular location you think we should be considering as we plan throughout the year, please use the link to Webmaster to tell us about it. We'll be happy to consider your suggestions.

You can join our mailing list and be notified of all walks as soon as they are planned. We will not give out any information you provide and only use the list to keep people informed about the walks. Click on "Contacts" below to join.

Our walks are led by experienced birders. Karen Etter Hale and Brad Webb have been leading these walks since 2008. We always have a lot of fun with good birds, good company and pleasant walks. We'd be happy to have you join us for more of the same.
