(Photo of Blackbirds and Grackles ...) September Bird Walk - Zeloski Marsh

Our last walk of the season, September 18th, ran into some slightly wet weather. However, the walk, which was combined with one for the Madison Audubon Society, still managed to produce some interesting results for the many hardy birders who joined. We've noticed over the years that a bit of overcast and light rain may actually make for better birding. Not that the weather necessarily will please the birders all that much.

If you were unable to join us on this walk, we hope you'll be ready to join us when next spring approaches and we head out on another season of Jefferson / Dodge County Birdwalks.
