April Walk

(Photo of Tree Swallow ...) April Bird Walk - Rose Lake at Dorothy Carnes Park

Our first walk of the new season saw a group of happy-to-be-out-again birders enjoying the birding on the western side of Rose Lake. The weather could have been better but it didn't keep our intrepid group from seeing many interesting birds. We were able to avoid the cool wind for the most part which helped. Below is a list of all the birds we saw on our inaugural outing of the 2011 walks. As always, we had a lot of fun and good companionship.

If you couldn't be with us for this walk, we hope you can join us for one of the others in this series.
